Dr. Moore is a TX Licensed Psychologist and served on active duty as an Air Force Psychologist for 25 years, having retired in July 2014. Dr. Moore was the Chief Psychology Resident at Wilford Hall Medical Center, and returned there for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology.
His operational assignments include: Dyess AFB, TX; Incirlik AB, Turkey; and Kunsan Air Base, South Korea. Additionally, he was an in-residence student, then an Assistant Professor at the Air Command and Staff College, Air University, Maxwell AFB, AL. Dr. Moore spent six months deployed to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, as the Theater Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Psychologist.
Dr. Moore has over 30 years of experience treating psycho-physiological disorders such as chronic pain, sleep, weight, tobacco cessation, and most recently, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Additional specialized training includes: the FBI Hostage Negotiation Basic course, and the San Antonio Police Department Advanced Hostage Negotiation course, Biofeedback and Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Moore and his wife live in Abilene. They have two adult children.
